About
Donna always had a passion for the visual arts, taking part in, and winning several art competitions and moving on to study Art at the Malta School of Arts and History of Art at the University of Malta. She has also taken several courses at the Art Academy London, the London Fine Arts Studios, and the Royal Drawing School. Besides being a visual artist, Donna also trained at the Drama Studio London and has worked professionally as an actress in theatre and film. The performative arts are a big influence on her visual artwork.
Some collective exhibitions include the ‘New English Art Club Annual Exhibition 2021’, ‘Figurative Art Now’ at the Mall Galleries London, and ‘Art as a Response to Mental Health’ at the Doncaster Art Fair. In 2022 she had her first solo exhibition in the UK at the Abbey Theatre St Albans. Her painting of the Houses of Parliament was selected for the Riverside Views Exhibition and Competition at the County Hall London and in July 2023 she was the winner of the Reveley Lodge Artist Challenge. She has also appeared in Sky Arts’ ‘Landscape Artist of the Year’.
