Commissions

Please get in touch if you would like to enquire about a commission.

Process:

I ty to working from life as much as possible, but I can also work from photos. If you would like to commission a landscape, I will travel to the location if that is feasible. If you would like to commission a portrait, I prefer meeting the sitter and taking photos myself but if this is not possible, or if you have a specific image that you like, I am happy to work from photos as well. I can then make adaptations to the image if preferred. Travel costs might apply and will vary depending on location. 

If you are not sure about what you would like exactly, we can discuss further, and I will work up a series of little sketches of different composition ideas to show you. You can then tell me which one you prefer for the final piece, and I will make any adjustments needed to ensure you are happy before l move on to the final painting or drawing. 

Timing:

This will depend on the subject and size but if you would like the painting to be ready by a certain time, please let me know. 

Pricing:

Varies based on size, subject and level of finish, but if you have a specific budget, let me know.

Framing:

Since this is a very subjective choice, I normally leave framing up to the client, but I can suggest what type of frame would look best.
